Made for Filemaker criteria and submission guidelines

The Made for Filemaker section provides two very important services: It gives customers one searchable directory where they can find all FileMaker solutions, books, add-ons, plug-ins, and developer tools (including free, commercial, and shareware), and it helps FileMaker developers market their solutions to FileMaker customers.

You can take advantage of this exciting co-marketing opportunity by making sure your company's solutions are listed and up-to-date. Inclusion in the guide is free to FileMaker Business Alliance members (Program valid in U.S., Canada and Latin America only). All you need to do is meet the following criteria and you'€™re on your way to reaching new FileMaker customers!

Criteria

  • The solution can be a commercial solution, a book, a plug-in, an add-on, or a developer tool.
  • You must be a FileMaker Business Alliance (FBA) member in good standing to submit a solution. (Not an FBA member? Learn more about membership.)
  • The solution must be available in the most current version of FileMaker Pro.
  • Only full versions of solutions may be listed (no trial, upgrade versions, or beta solutions).
  • To be listed as a FileMaker solution, your website must include a reference to FileMaker and a link to the FileMaker website.
  • You must comply with FileMaker trademark guidelines.
  • To submit a listing, you must be able to provide:
    • Description of solution (150 words or less) highlighting the solution features and benefits
    • System requirements
    • One screenshot of your solution with the following specifications:
  • Image provided in .jpg format
  • Image no larger than 500KB
  • Image no larger than 800x600 pixels
  • Screenshot caption (20 words or less)
  • FileMaker makes final approvals for placement at its discretion.
  • FileMaker reserves the right to remove any solution at its discretion.
  • You are responsible for providing support for your solution.
